If you're running Windows Vista and receive the error message "500 Internal Server Error" when attempting to connect to either of the academic wireless networks (i.e. @kun3t or KU Instructional Wireless), follow these steps to resolve:
- Open Internet Options, either from Control Panels or via the Tools menu in Internet Explorer
- On the Security tab, click Trusted sites. Click the Sites button and add the website https://bearnet.kutztown.edu
- On the Privacy tab, click the Pop-up Blocker Settings button. Add "bearnet.kutztown.edu" to the list of allowed sites
- Close Internet Options
Note that this fix only applies to Vista computers connecting wirelessly to either of the academic wireless networks (i.e. @kun3t or KU Instructional Wireless) and does not apply to the ResNet wireless network.
