3D printing service available

Need a 3D printer for a personal or class project? The ResNet helpdesk offers 3D printing to all residents for a small fee (10 cents per gram of filament). Students can download existing designs or create their own from a number of web sites including:

Here are specs for ResNet's 3D printing service:

  • Print Bed Max size: 5.9" x 5.9" x 5.9"
  • PLA filament only
  • Current color choices: Clear, Clear Red, Black, Blue and Yellow
  • Prints from .stl files
  • Layer height options of .1 - .4
  • Rectilinear or honey comb infill
  • Current cost: 10 cents per gram of filament
